Nut Butter Balls

These TASTY treats are so simple and filled with protein and good fats to fuel your active body! They can be used post-workout, as a treat to replace your usual sugar cravings or as an every day snack between meals.





1 C Oats

1/2 C Natural peanut butter or almond butter (no sugar added)

1/3 C Honey (cut down to 1/4 if you like it less sweet)

1/4 C Chocolate chips (use coco nibs for a healthier clean option)

1/2 C Dried unsweetened coconut

2 Tbs. Chia seeds

1 tsp vanilla

*Note: Add 1/4 C ground flax and sunflower seeds if desired.



Set aside 1/4 C of dried coconut from recipe and set aside. Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix. Roll mixture into small balls and then roll each individual ball in the extra coconut that was set aside. Sprinkle any remaining coconut on top of the balls when finished. Place in the fridge until ready to eat.
